Background
In 2004 Regional Funerals was established in South Africa to cater for local and neighbouring countries for funeral services. It is a fully fledged Funeral Parlour built on solid principles with the aim of giving dignity and care where it is needed most. We aim to make the grieving process easier to handle by giving a dignified service at affordable prices.
In the event of the loss of a loved one, most Zimbabweans were resorting to illegal repatriation methods and having their loved ones buried in foreign countries. We saw it fit to venture into this business and offer affordable rates to repatriate loved ones back to Zimbabwe since local Funeral Parlours were charging exorbitant rates, hence the formation of Regional Funeral Services. It has been quite a challenge to convince people to work with us leaving experienced providers.
Due to hard work, dedication, understanding and trust from people of our home land, Regional Funerals has become a success, with branches in Bulawayo, Tsholotsho, Khezi and Welkom having been established.
Our services are not only limited to Zimbabwe, we have links all across Africa and the World, hence there is no destination that we are not able to send the deceased to their final resting place. We arrange flights and all necessary clearance for your loved ones to get back home. Road transfers are also possible where the country and distance permits, this service is mostly for South Africa's neighbouring countries which are Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia.
